Zoo Conference
One of the highlights of Science in Action is the annual Science in Action Conference and ZooSnooze program at the Oregon Zoo. A select group of students from each school is invited to present their project to their peers and to the conservation staff at the zoo. The conference is a way to honor the students’ hard work and validate their research.
Students also listen to a talk about conservation biology by a zookeeper, have free time at the zoo, take a backstage tour of the zoo and then spend the night.
