CGEI Pays It Forward!

In the aftermath of hurricanes Katrina and Rita, CGEI received an unexpected payment for interpretive talks we had provided long ago. We chose to pay this money forward - to Earthkeepers, an environmental education program in New Orleans.
The director of the program sent us the following thank you note as well as pictures which remind us of the great work that people do even in the most trying of situations...

" ...Thank you from the bottom of my heart! We have already used it to help bring a group of kids to Earthkeepers at our camp. (We couldn't use the park that we usually do because they lost so many trees). It was a wonderful session... I'll enclose a couple of pictures.
We all, in New Orleans, try to keep a very positive outlook because if we didn't we'd all lose it!
It's a gorgeous day before Mardi Gras! We'll just keep on...!!
