Programs for the whole family, the inquisitive adult, and the service-oriented citizens.
Starting in 2003, the Institute will offer fun weekend hikes for the entire family (for those of you wishing to hear more about the SECRETS your child brought home from school), organize continuing education workshops for adults who want to learn more about the ecosystems of the rain-shadow region, and arrange meaningful volunteer service days for active citizens.

The Institute seeks instructors with professional background or amateur expertise in a wide variety of science topics for adult workshops, educational family hikes, and volunteer projects. Contact us for details.
