Gorge ECOLOGY Science Camp
 

Catalog Section: KIDS RECREATION, Children's Camp

Course Description:
  For 9 to 11 year-olds. Gorge Ecology Institute naturalists explore local ecosystems with campers in small groups. Campers will explore local ecology and science by hands-on activities and team-building games.

  • A Stewardship Project

All classes will be outdoors and students will be provided with Gorge ECOLOGY Camp T-Shirt and journals. All transport, supplies, lunch and snacks will be provided.

The Gorge Ecology Institute is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to teaching natural science in the Gorge.  All profits from this summer camp go towards funding our school programs.

Instructors: Gorge Ecology Institute, Columbia Gorge Kayak School, Windmaster Academy
Location:  Meet daily at the Columbia Gorge Ecology Institute office, 203 2nd Street, Hood River.
Dates:  Monday-Friday, July 23rd to 27th. One over-night camp date.
Time:  9 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
Student Limit:  15
Class Fee:  $250.00 or $65.00 per day
Supply Fee:  $0
